Solidarity and Unconventional Style: The INCLUSION Project is Born
Solidarity and sport can be two sides of the same coin, this is now well known. But what happens if we add our "unconventional" style to this?
We are proud to present INCLUSION, a line of swimwear and accessories supporting people with disabilities from the Centro Papa Giovanni XXIII in Ancona. In particular, the project supports Casa Sollievo, an innovative flat that welcomes people with disabilities eager to "train" themselves to live independently, building their lives step by step, included and self-reliant in society.
The Message: "We Are All Different and That's Beautiful"
"We are all different and that's beautiful": this is the message we want to send. An invitation to look with new eyes at those around us, celebrating the uniqueness of every individual.
An Exceptional Patron: Carlotta Gilli
The patron of this project is Carlotta Gilli, Paralympic swimming champion who holds 11 world records and all the Italian records. With a medal tally counting 19 golds among Paralympics, World and European Championships, Carlotta has embraced our cause with enthusiasm. Her words perfectly sum up the spirit of INCLUSION: “We are all different, disabled and able-bodied. Each of us has traits that can be a source of wealth for others. When this truth becomes a collective awareness, then we can truly speak of inclusion.”
A Collaboration Born from Creativity
This collaboration, born thanks to our Ambassador Marco Trillini, is an opportunity to carry far a message of inclusion, autonomy and dignity. As Giorgia Sordoni, Vice President of Centro Papa Giovanni XXIII, points out: "For our Social Cooperative this is a great opportunity. The ‘right to beauty’ is for everyone.”
